Lisandra Guerra Garcia
As a Co-Founder and Clinical Director at True North, Lisandra brings a unique perspective rooted in her international background in medicine and psychiatry. While her medical degree was earned abroad, her deep understanding of behavioral health informs her current practice as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Nurse (RN) in the U.S. Her professional journey—from RBT to nursing and clinical leadership—reflects a lifelong commitment to care. Lisandra is dedicated to maintaining the highest clinical standards, providing mentorship to our staff, and ensuring that every child receives a deeply personalized and empowering treatment plan.
Wendy Jauriga Avalos
Co-Founder and Clinical Director Wendy Jauriga Avalos is a dual-licensed APRN and BCBA with a passion for holistic, family-centered care. With extensive experience in acute, critical, and behavioral health settings across Florida and New York, Wendy approaches ABA from a comprehensive, whole-person perspective. She is deeply involved in every stage of the therapeutic process—from initial assessments to therapist supervision—ensuring that families feel supported and heard. Wendy’s leadership is defined by her calm demeanor and clear communication, creating a nurturing environment where both children and their support systems can truly thrive.
